Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shihuang and Terra-cotta Warriors


The Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shihuang, the first emperor of China, is located at the foot of Li Mountain, Shaanxi Province, and covers an area of 56.25 square kilometers.

The vaults of the terra-cotta warriors and horses are 1,500 meters east of the mausoleum. There were totally over 7,000 pottery figures unearthed there, including soldiers, chariots and horses. It is known as the ‘eighth wonder in the world’.
