Jinsha Site Museum
The Jinsha site was unearthed in 2001, in the western suburbs of Chengdu. Flourishing from about 1200 - 500 BC, Jinsha was an unwalled town that belonged to the Sanxingdui culture.
The two archaeological sites represent culture, ruins and history of the ancient Shu Kingdom existed 3,000 years ago. In the museum, over 6,000 relics found here, include both functional and decorative items, from pottery and tools to jade artefacts, stone carvings and ornate gold masks.
