Sanxingdui Museum

Sanxingdui Museum is located in the northeastern corner of the Sanxingdui site, on the banks of the Yazi River in western Guanghan, 40 kilometers to the north of Chengdu.

Discovered in 1987 when archaeologists excavated remarkable artifacts, the museum and the relics display the previously unknown Bronze Age culture that has been identified with the ancient kingdom of Shu. These are over 1,000 precious cultural artifacts that have been found here, including pottery, jade, bone, gold, and bronze wares.
