Sights in Kham

At the north of town of Litang in Gantze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Litang Chode, also known as Ganden Tubchen Chokhorling, was built in 1580 for the third Dalai Lhama.

Larung Gar Buddhist Institute, located in a side valley about 15km south of Sertar township in Gantze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, is the world’s largest Buddhist Academy.
