The lovely Lingtsang Boutique Hotel is run by a Tibetan owner and is well located in the Lhasa old town area in Barkhor. It is a protect house with more than 300 years of history and now renovated to a Tibetan style family hotel in 2011. It was for the former residence of a saint, Ling Rinpoche, one of the teachers for the 14th Dalai Lama. The rooms are very charming and comfortable with nice Tibetan design and very spacious. It requires early booking as the number of rooms is less than 10.
