Shigatse Yak Hotel has upgraded to 3 star hotel, but not as good as its rating that is a budget lodging for travellers or a second choice if other better same rates hotels are full booked. Rooms are clean and so are the toilet and bathroom. No elevator, travelers have to carry luggage to rooms up stairs. Hot water shower is often available but does not work well in freezing winter. The breakfast is simple and limited in option.
