Nujiang Canyon

Du Fu’s Thatched Cottage

Du Fu’s Thatched Cottage is located in Chengdu’s western suburbs by the Huanhua Stream. It was formerly the residence of Du Fu – a great poer in the Tang dynasty, when he was compelled by poverty and misfortunes to move from Chang’an (present Xi’an) to Chengdu.
